Whoops!! Dropping the Ball

Life Is Better Understood In Retrospect... I’m grateful for the opportunity to connect with you through this space. There's so much to share, and one of the reasons is that I find lessons everywhere around me.

Today, I want to reflect on an important lesson: the understanding that some aspects of our future are beyond our control, and that's perfectly okay.

Sometimes, what’s about to unfold in our lives is shaped by decisions or people we encountered long ago. It’s fascinating how life’s narrative unfolds in ways that leave us astonished. Our stories are crafted with such artistry that we can only marvel at the outcome.

As humans, we often focus on immediate results and gains. We seek connections that will lead us to the next opportunity, filtering people through our own conscious and unconscious biases. Yet, we never truly know what the future holds.

This isn't to suggest that we should welcome anyone indiscriminately, but rather to encourage a moment of reflection: “What criteria do I use to evaluate the people I meet?”

Recently, I attended a Leadership conference and heard the term "High-Value Women." It made me pause and consider what defines a High-Value Woman. Is it based on achievements, personal values, social positioning, education, character, or something else?

This question is both for you and for me.

Understanding this is crucial because our current decisions plant the seeds for our future.

As women striving to grow in all areas of our lives—whether in our homes, careers, relationships, or personal development—let’s remember two key things:

By continuously adding value to ourselves, we naturally attract like-minded individuals. When values align, it feels as though life is orchestrating a beautiful symphony.

The choices you’ve made, the people you’ve met, and the simple “hello” you’ve shared are all seeds that have yet to bear fruit. Your future is so luminous that, when you look back, you’ll marvel at how it all came together in ways you couldn’t have planned.
