7 Steps To Having A SUPER ORGANIZED Week!

It is a brand new week and there would be a splurge of motivation Mondays (which we do and you can see some of ours HERE) and inspiration to get your momentum going on for the new week.

Momentum is great; however, there is a certain level to which someone else can keep pushing you. So the question is how motivated are you?

One way to stay motivated is to plan and be organized! Proper Planning Promotes Progressive Performance. When you are organized, you are focused, you are intentional, you celebrate your victories and your momentum builds up to keep handling the next on your to-do list.

Here are our 7 ways to have a SUPER organized week ahead.

1. Know what tasks need to be completed.

Having a to do list is very important, if you want a more productive week. We compartmentalize our tasks in our mind that we get overwhelmed just thinking about it. Staying overwhelmed has a spiral effect that leads to lack of focus, direction and even interest to do anything else.

Make sure you have a list of the tasks that need to be done, then note which tasks will take more time than others. You should make a schedule of how long each tasks will take. This will give you a more realistic time frame of what you need to do that week.

2. Focus on a single task.

Women, we are the gods of multitasking. This is a skill that money cannot buy; However, there comes a time you need to focus on a single task because completing them one at a time will not only allow you to finish sooner, it will also increase the precision of your work.

3. The Power of NO

"A well-placed ‘No’ can not only save you time and trouble, it can save your life.” You do not have to do everything for everybody. If you are afraid of disappointing people and you decide to be a yes person to everyone, newsflash! - They would still be disappointed, one way or the other.

Getting matured to the power of NO is directly proportional to when you understand the value of your time. Your time is money!

4. Get it out of the way.

You know that activity you have been postponing and giving yourself a million reasons why you should do it later.. Yes that task! Do it now.

Tackle what you do not want to do first so that you don’t waste any mental energy resenting it. You’ll be so relieved that the rest of the day will seem simple.

5. Conduct a self-assessment.

What’s the absolute best use of your time right now? Figure it out and focus in on it. All the other things pending, can wait. If a task can be outsourced and you have the funds for it, then why not. If you need to get an intern to manage your social media pages, then do that.

6. Create a list of “Once a Days.”

Some things take up your time but are not supposed to. These should be categorized as once a days. Activities like social media, videos, and so more. You can easily get carried away into that world and you are wasting valuable time. Create a list of your personal “once a days” and make sure these tasks aren’t creeping into your workload unnecessarily.

7. Don’t beat yourself up.

Mistakes are inevitable. They mean you are doing something. It takes time and practice to master anything, and productivity is no different. Progress is the realistic goal -- not perfection. If you need a break to be refreshed and rejuvenate, by all means take that, so that you are at the top of you game.

Have a most productive week ahead!
